Richard Bleck — Financial Analyst

In 1976 I took flying lessons, soloed several times but never completed the instruction to get my license. I'd still like to do some real flying, maybe I'll try it again someday.





In May 2001 I met a Russian woman who was in the United States on a tourist visa. We "hit it off" and December 2001 we got married. I like to travel and that works especially well when your wife is from another country. I've traveled to Europe a few times and expect to continue visiting Europe at least every couple of years.





Bass fishing has been an interest of mine for about 25 years. My interest isn't as intense as it used to be and I think it has something to do with Aces High. I like to fish in tournaments and have has some success in the past. I hold a lake record in Oregon and the 10lb 1oz bass is still the largest bass every caught during a tournament in Oregon. If you're gonna catch a big one, there's no better time than in a tournament. I didn't win the tournament as I boated only four out of a possible six fish. My 21 lbs was less than one pound out of first place. I still took home almost as much money as the 1st place winner, because of the "big fish" money. I released the fish alive and still hope that someday I'll have a fiberglass replica made to put on my wall.
