Bronze Star | 09/18/1998 | I am proud to award the Bronze Star to AKCurly and AKSheWolf for their outstanding performance, dedication, and insight during the HelenWings affair. They both came under a lot of heat from the squad, and they were both subjected to a lot of personal abuse over this, but they stuck to their guns. The end result was that their actions saved the squad from a huge embarassment, and we all owe them our thanks for their perseverance and foresight. (BRIG) |

Legion of Merit | 05/08/2000 | For Service Beyond the Call of Duty, AKCurly+ is hereby awarded the Legion of Merit. AKCurly+'s outstanding leadership at Brigade as well as his accomplishments as CO of the 1FC Squad, make him more than deserving of this award. While fulfilling duties as the XO of the Arabian Knights Brigade AKCurly wrote and developed a medal management program to insure that all Arabian Knights are rewarded for their activities. Simultaneously, he resumed command of the FC unit and continued its domination of the FC arena. AKCurly+ has also provided a mail list for the entire brigade for years with no desire for compensation. For these and many reasons too numerous to mention, AKCurly+ is so awarded. (BRIG) |

Legion of Merit | 06/13/2000 | For performance above and beyond the call of duty. While serving as the 1FC Commanding officer for an unprecedented second tour, AKCurly+ not only exceeded everyone\'s expectations yet again but simultaneously served as the Brigade Executive Officer during the critical time of breaking in a new Brigade Commander. As a trusted liege, AKCurly+ can be counted on in every situation to provide sound and timely advice. In addition to those two critical and demanding duties, AKCurly+ continued to provide services to the Brigade such as Mail List, writing and providing a new custom Roger Wilco server for each unit, and along with others, headed up a project to improve our medal system. For this and more than words can express, AKCurly+ is awarded this award with our deepest gratitude and appreciation. (BRIG) |

AKCurly+ though, is the kind of person that conquers all challenges. Every unit AKCurly+ has commanded has thrived and risen quickly to the top of the Arabian Knights. In personal endeavors as a pilot, wingman and friend, AKCurly+ flourishes and is formidable on all fronts. If there were ever a Knight worthy of our highest honor, its is with great pleasure that we bestow it on the best of us. |
